Brandon Van Dyck

Brandon Van Dyck is an assistant professor of Government and Law at Lafayette College. He specializes in the study of political parties and political regimes, with a regional focus on Latin America. His articles have appeared or are forthcoming in Comparative Politics, Latin American Research Review, Latin American Politics and Society, Journal of Latin American Studies, and Foreign Affairs Latinoamérica. He is co-editor of the volume, Challenges of Party Building in Latin America (Cambridge University Press). His current book project examines the divergent trajectories of Latin America's new left-wing parties. Professor Van Dyck is also president and co-founder of The Mill Series, an organization dedicated to promoting viewpoint diversity at Lafayette College.
